Until a new month of gratitude is posted, here are...

Some thoughts

Cats could possibly be the originators of parkour.

Keeping a daily gratitude journal is proving to be tricky. I need to refocus on it.  Just write what I'm grateful for. Other journal topics can be kept elsewhere.

I can identify with Leo the late bloomer. Either that or I'm living life in reverse. There are things I'm doing now that I could have done in younger days, but didn't. Ex: motorcycle riding. I wanted to get a bike & license in college, but didn't. I didn't color my hair then but am very interested in doing so now. At least after its donated.

My blog title should be updated. It needs to include Motorcycles. :)  4M words will make up the title of the blog.

May 6-
Dear Robert Frost, I'm taking the road less traveled...on my motorbike!

Mer is a funny bird. She is SO hard to get moving in the AM when she has to be up for school. But, if there is no school, she wakes up early anyway. I really hope & pray that perhaps at some point in life she'll do things that will help her to be happy.  Ex: when she's crying, I try to help her calm down. She fights it, tells me 'no' (to just about everything), seems to be sad at home. At school she seems ok. (According to teachers, etc)

Disclaimer for my gratitude journal on the blog: Just bc what is written here is all positive does not in anyway mean my life is all the time happy. There are sad times as well. I'll write about that elsewhere. Whether I share it or not is another matter.

May 11- I'm attending church adorned in the tokens of love from my daughters, M & E. :)

“Have dreams and work to make your dreams come true.” Henry David Thoreau

- greed: what a horrible thing!
- Gods expectations of us VS our expectations of us
- consistency: depending on subject/what it's in relation to, it can be a hard thing. Ex: it's hard for me to be consistent with rules/discipline with children, but I can be consistent with church attendance.
