This has been a good busy week, & it's only Thursday! I took E to the church Tues AM so she could attend her first year of Girls Camp. Aw! It's been strange not having her with us. I hope she's having a good time. Mom & dad flew Adam, Mason & Liza into Branson, then came up to visit us. They came in early Tuesday evening. Curtis was so good! He took M to her softball games so I could visit with my family. (M had 2 games Tues night.) Wednesday we spent the day @ the Magic House. The kids all had a good time there.
Thurs everyone was up & moving. Mom, Dad, Adam & his 2 kids were packing up to start traveling again. I think they're heading back to AZ. Curtis helped to pack the car & get things ready so we could head out for the Loper family reunion. He left early so he could ride the motorcycle here. M, C, N & I took off around noon in Maxx and headed for West Plains. Poor Clara gets car sick real easy. She doesn't throw up but her tummy hurts really bad. I stopped on the side of the road to let Clara get out & get some air so her tummy could feel better. After we got back in the car a lady pulled over to see if we were ok. That was so kind of her! She explained that she passed us & turned around & came back to see if we needed help. :} So sweet! I thanked her & explained our situation and said that we were fine. That just made me think about how the Lord is watching out for me & my girls. My heart was lightened! :) May the Lord bless that kind stranger. (She was on her way to babysit her grand baby.)
We're driving again & stop @ a gas station to use the bathroom & get drinks. After I went potty, I left my wallet in the bathroom. A young girl brought it to me while the littles were choosing drinks. I thanked her of course. My wallet could have been stolen, but thankfully it was returned to me. What a blessing!
At some point during our drive, the AC quit. Fortunately that was short lived. After we stopped again later, it started working again. Hallelujah! Another 'fan'tastic blessing! (That's a pun. Fans cool you off, the AC was working again. FANtastic blessing!)
Sadly though N got sick less than 20 minutes away from camp. Poor girl. I had to take her clothes off of her. We made a Walmart run later to get shoes (that I thought I packed) & a new blanket.
Have I mentioned lately how wonderful my husband is? Earlier this week we celebrated our 13th anniversary. Curtis works so hard to help take care of me & our family. I hope & I try to be good to him the way he is to me.
It's late. Tomorrow I'm going on my 3rd canoe trip with the Loper crew. Curtis will stay with the girls & I'll canoe with Uncle Junior. (Or Junner as it's pronounced.) I think Mom's brother Marvin passed away last year. It's a shame. To me, he was kind of a staple of the Family reunion. It just wasn't official (for me) until I saw him with his coffee, open button-up shirt (or no shirt) shorts, & flip-flops. He had this great white beard too. Idk if I ever talked to him but something about him intrigued me. I'll miss seeing him here.

A lady named Donna B. leads a free yoga class at Joe Glik park on Thurs nights. This was my 2nd time attending. After class, a lady complimented me on my breathing. :) That's a first! She said it was helpful to her. (That was nice of her to say that!)
